Our Story

Built Around Children.

My own childhood haircuts were often difficult, and I remember how much that affected both me and my mother. Years later, that memory became part of the reason behind The Kids Salon.

Since 2017, we have built TKS around a simple approach: understand the child, listen to the parent and adapt the experience. The aim is not just a good haircut, but a salon visit that works better for the family as a whole.

Our Journey

What began in 2017 has grown through years of working with children and families. As TKS enters its tenth year, the purpose behind it remains the same.

From Our Family to Yours

The TKS Hair Oil

Long before it became something we shared at TKS, our hair oil began as a family recipe passed down from my grandmother.

My mother still prepares it herself, using ingredients our family has trusted for years. What began at home was eventually shared with TKS families and has now been available at the salon for more than seven years.

Made with ingredients including Indian gooseberry (amla), pumpkin seeds and coconut, it remains a small piece of our family story that became part of TKS.
